What's the schedule for the event?
We'll start the day with breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by some opening remarks. We'll then start the first of our three breakout sessions with two tracks per session. Following lunch at noon, we'll have three more breakouts and conclude our day with a networking session at 5 p.m. You can find more details under our Event Schedule.
We're hosting the event at the Sheraton - Salt Lake in downtown Salt Lake City, UT. We've secured a room rate of $159/night if you're coming from out of town.
Yes, the workshop presentations will be recorded and made available to registered attendees after the event.
This event is only open to registered attendees who are starting direct selling companies, executives of established direct selling companies, executives of existing companies that plan to build a direct selling channel, and members of the Best Practices Alliance. Any registrants who don’t meet at least one of the prior criteria will have their registration canceled and their fee refunded. This event is not open to vendor companies who provide products or services to direct selling companies.
How much is the workshop?
We're offering an early-bird price until 9/20 of $99/person. If you want to bring your team, the early-bird price is $79/person for two or more people.
Our workshop is the brain child of the Best Practices Alliance, a group of direct selling service experts that recognize the value of growth and provides leadership and training to help MLM and party plan companies manage growth. Their financial support helps underwrite the cost of the event so we can keep ticket prices affordable.
Please email refund requests to hello@bestpracticesalliance.com. For all requests received on or before September 10, 2018, a 25% charge will be deducted. Between September 11 and February October 1, 2018, a 50% charge will be deducted. No refunds will be made after October 1, 2018. You can transfer your registration to another representative at your company for a 25% fee. The registration can’t apply to any future events. Please email transfer requests to hello@bestpracticesalliance.com.

Maximum Velocity Direct Selling Workshop

Come prepared to drink from a fire hose! We've built this day to deliver value in every session. So, ask questions, and realize that while you maybe can't apply EVERYTHING right away, you'll walk away with plans for the next year, if not longer.

How to Get the Most from the Workshop

  • Bring at least two people from your team so you split up for breakouts
  • Try to limit outside distractions from work, social media, etc.
  • Don't be afraid to introduce yourself and say hi (we're a friendly group)
  • Come prepared to learn
